Thanks to our partners and the support of the Geneva town and Carouge town authorities, we are able to offer free bikes and bakfiets (bikes with a wooden box on the front) during the summer period.
Every day from beginning of May to end of October, you can borrow a city bike for free during a period of up to 4 hours in one of our six loan centers. From the 5th hour on, it costs 2 swiss francs per hour. These bikes can be returned to any of the six shops during opening hours. More info.

Geneva Tourism & Conventions is an officially recognized, privately run public service association. It was founded more than 120 years ago by representatives of the Genevan economic community and performs the following 3 missions:

The museum at Penthes collects and shows historical objects linked to the history of the Swiss abroad from the 15th century to the present.
Its collection comprises original documents (military patents and letters of dismissal, contracts, correspondence, journals, newspapers, maps, photographs, stamps, travelogues etc.), historical and recent books, engravings, portraits and views, sculptures, arms, uniforms and flags, medals and decorations, furniture, personal belongings etc. – objects all which form part of the Swiss and international heritage.
